On 19th August 2016, the Possessory Titles Act No. 22 of 2016 came into force allowing applicants to apply to court for an order for possessory title to land by claiming through adverse possession, that is, factual possession of an exclusive and undisturbed piece or parcel of land in Grenada for a continuous period not less than twelve years immediately preceding the claim, accompanied by the requisite intention to possess the said land as owner thereof.

The Possessory Titles Act was assented to by the Governor General on 20th July, 2016. It was printed and published by the Government’s Printery on 29th July, 2016. A subsequent Possessory Titles Act (Commencement) Order was Gazetted on 19th August, 2016 and enforced the said Act on even date.
Secondly, the records at the Grenada Deeds and Land Registry are not accessible online. A physical search must be conducted to retrieve information.
Is an online copy of the Possessory Titles Act that was assented to available ? I searched the Laws of Grenada website but was unable to locate same.
